The awards, as is every year, celebrates young people making outstanding achievements in their various fields. A lot of young people have redefined the norms in their fields and as such are recognised and encouraged. This year’s event was themed, ‘Celebrating Challengers and Builders.’

Eventually, Temilade ‘Tems’ Openiyi was awarded Winner of The Future Awards Africa Prize for Music 2022. As a result, Infinix would provide 1 year supply of Infinix devices to Tems, asides from the cash donation for the award.

Infinix did not sponsor the show to launch a device, but to support the Future Awards in celebrating and promoting the youth, especially in the entertainment and music industry. Infinix believes in them and will always support them to make their dreams come true.
